Red is a ruby. Red is smoothie maker making a strawberry smoothie. Red is a fresh straw berry. Red is a petal from a rose. Red makes me feel angry. Red is fresh ripe fruits red is an apple tree.

This is my poem on the color gold. Gold looks like a ring. Gold smells like a brand new crown that is not owned by a clown. Gold makes me feel good. Gold tastes like delicious sparking lemonade. Gold sounds like people saying “Yippee! We’re rich!” Gold is like a special gold coin from a pirate. Gold is rare. It is so rare no money can spare.

On Mother’s Day I woke up I played with Lego’s then went  to church. Church was fun. After church I went to a park and played kick ball. It was my brother  (Jonathan) and me verses the rest of my family. We won with the score: 2 them, 10 us. They got the two points because we played easy. When I got home I had noddles for dinner. For dessert I had ice cream then I went to bed. What did you do for Mother’s day?

At school I learned about Pangaea.  It was a place where dinosaurs lived. If you have ever wondered why people from South America find fossils from Africa it is because all the land use to be connected.  This large land mass is called Pangaea.  Can you fit the continents together like a puzzle?

Today at school I watched a movie on goal setting and what to do if it doesn’t happen. My goal is to get a hit in baseball.  If I don’t I will do twelve  minutes of practice in the batting cages. I have one more goal that is to catch a ball. If I don’t I can practice catching with dad. What is your goal?  What will you do if it does not happen?

What is leadership?

Leadership is when you take a step above and lead. This is a story when I used leadership. In soccer I  was a leader because I  encouraged my team to not give up. Although my team did not win,  I still worked hard and scored a few goals. I felt good that I did not give up. That is a quality of a good leader. Another example of a good leader is Trevor when he reminded us to stay on task in a nice way. When did you  show leadership? Can you tell me the story?    Here is a picture of leadership.

On Wednesday my class wrote happy words with chalk on the sidewalk.  Some kids drew rainbows and hearts.  I drew a happiness jet.  It said get happy and had a happy face on it.  The drawings where out front and in the back of the school.  They made people happy when they came into the school.
